About Us

History

1991

We opened KAGEMUSHA, the first Japanese restaurant in Ubud area.

The location was in front of Pengosekan main street,

It was a quiet place, surrounded by rice fields.

The all seats was Japanese style.

2004

We moved to the back of the road, just behind of the first place.

Building was a  little modern style.

At that time, we could still see the beautiful rice fields.

But last few years rice fields changed to new buildings and buildings... , the Pengosekan street had always terrible traffic jam...  So we decided to move to new quiet place..

2014

We opened at new location,  Nyuh Kuning village,

very relaxed and quite from the hustle of Ubud.

Now, you can enjoy our tasty Japanese home cooking

with peaceful lush greenery garden.

Since KAGEMUSHA  opened, many people have supported and cooperated.
